SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - For almost 15 years, Treasures Consignment Boutique and Thrift Shop has been offering shoppers the thrill of the hunt. The store is run by the Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild and all proceeds go directly to support Saratoga Hospital. Taking the “No New Clothes” pledge with Ginger Zee They offer a wide selection of clothing, household and home decorating items, collectibles, vintage, linens, small furniture and more. The store is run by 40 volunteers, as well as part time and full time employees. Thrifting at Karie Jean’s Closet in Voorheesville The store is located on 60 West Avenue in Saratoga Springs. LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - As summer comes to a close, an annual competition will return to the village of Lake George. The Lake George Triathlon runs, and swims, and bikes its way to town again this September. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2-3, the annual triathlon will gather competitors at Million Dollar Beach. Athletes can choose to take on the Alpha Sprint, Alpha Olympic, or Alpha 70.3. SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Scotia Fire Department was awarded a grant of over $67K to purchase new safety equipment. Congressman Paul Tonko made the announcement on Thursday. GRANITE CITY, Ill. – A central Missouri man was arrested this week in connection with a child sex crime investigation in Granite City, Illinois.According to Major Nick Novacich, assistant chief of police for the Granite City Police Department, a missing juvenile report was filed with the department on Aug. 7. The next day, police received information leading to the missing juvenile’s location.Investigators contacted police in California, Missouri, who then found the juvenile at a residence and took a suspect, identified as Naresh Bass-Ocasio, into custody. The juvenile was returned to their family. Authorities in the Inland Empire arrested an unlikely suspect following a high-speed motorcycle pursuit Wednesday night.Around 7:50 p.m., a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy tried to stop a motorcyclist for a traffic violation near the intersection of Ranchero Road and Seventh Avenue in Hesperia.With lights and sirens activated, the deputy approached the motorcyclist, but he did not comply.
