A 13-year-old boy found shot in the woods was a victim of Sweden’s gang violence, prosecutor says COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A 13-year-old boy found dead in woods near his home in the suburbs of Stockholm earlier this month was the latest victim of a deadly gang war in Sweden, a prosecutor said Thursday.Milo, who was only identified by his first name, had been shot in the head in a chilling example of “gross and completely reckless gang violence,” prosecutor Lisa dos Santos said. He is believed to have been shot in Haninge, south of Stockholm. She declined to give further details due to the ongoing investigation.Swedish media, which have published photos of Milo with the permission of his family, said the body had been moved to the woods after the boy — who was not known to the police — was killed. Latina music composer inspires students, wins 'Women in Music' award CHICAGO — A Chicago-area music conductor is breaking boundaries becoming one of few Latinas in Illinois to lead a music program.Daniella Valdez was recently honored by the ‘Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra’ with the ‘Women In Music’ Award. Valdez teaches music at Maine West High School and serves as a conductor for the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra.Her love of music started early on.  She was in elementary school when she caught the tunes of a school orchestra and never looked back. Valdez says, “I remember hearing them in the hallway …and I came home saying that I wanted to play the violin….that’s what I wanted to do.” More from Lourdes: What’s preventing Latino businesses from growing? CPD launches search for 12-year-old missing from Austin neighborhood CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department is looking for the public's help in finding a 12-year-old boy who went missing from the Austin neighborhood Thursday.Missing 12-year-old Kaden Fox.Police said Kaden Fox went missing from the 5200 block of West North Avenue and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue joggers.Kaden is around 5-foot-2-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.Police also said Fox is autistic and suffers from Schizophrenia.Those with information that can help CPD find Kaden are encouraged to reach out to Area Five detectives at 312-746-6554.
