Paranormal Cirque coming to Maplewood Mall Paranormal Cirque, a mature-audience show that promises monsters, magic and even some sex appeal, will be setting up outside Maplewood Mall for shows this weekend.The “European style flair” of the show includes cabaret and theatrical themes, the show’s producers say.“You will fall into a parallel world and end up surrounded by monstrous creatures with hidden talents that will amaze you with the circus arts,” producer Cirque Italia said in a show announcement.Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The circus will take place in the Maplewood Mall parking lot at 3001 White Bear Ave. N.Tickets start at $15 for ages 13-17 and $25 for adults and can be purchased at paranormalcirque.com. Miller faces an array of charges, including criminal contempt, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, resisting arrest, and criminal impersonation. Mass exodus of KDHX volunteer DJs; At least 10 fired, others quit ST. LOUIS - Community radio station KDHX 88.1 FM has lost an alarming number of volunteer DJs this past month. At least 10 were fired as the station announced new fall programming changes on Friday, and at least five others have reportedly quit.In Friday's announcement, KDHX stated it currently has around 80 volunteer DJs, but that number appears to be shrinking in recent days. On Tuesday, a group consisting of current KDHX associates and volunteer DJs, gathered for an emergency meeting. The group voted to remove two members of the station's board of directors and nominate three members to replace them. In order for that to happen, however, upper management at KDHX would have to approve the change. That hasn't been approved as of Wednesday.
